The Town of La Veta has several different boards. The following are those boards and there meeting dates and times. Should you require more information regarding those boards, feel free to contact the La Veta Town Hall at 719-742-3631
Historic Preservation Committee-(HPC)- Meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday-at 5:30 p.m.-La Veta Community Center. Applications can be picked up at the La Veta Town Hall and are due to the Town Clerk the Tuesday prior to their board meetings. Make sure if you are in the Historic Preservation District and are planning on building, painting or doing any construction, YOU MUST go through the HPc to get approval first.
Fort Francisco Museum-Meet the 2nd Monday-at 6:00 at the La Veta Public Library
Park & Tree Board-Meet the 2nd Monday-at 4:00 at the La Veta COmmunity Center.
