🚨 CRITICAL WATER UPDATE: STAGE 4 WATER RESTRICTIONS NOW IN EFFECT 🚨

The Town of La Veta has officially implemented Stage 4 Water Restrictions due to a critical water shortage. These restrictions are MANDATORY & ENFORCED for all residents and businesses.

🚫 STRICTLY PROHIBITED (NO OUTDOOR WATERING):

• NO watering of lawns

• NO watering of flower beds

• NO watering of vegetable gardens

• NO watering of trees & shrubs

• NO washing of vehicles

• NO filling of swimming pools, hot tubs, or ornamental fountains

💡 ALLOWED EXCEPTION:

To maintain flower pots and vegetable gardens, you may use water transported from inside your home. However, absolutely no water use from a hose or any other outdoor connection is permitted.

⚠️ PENALTIES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE:

• 1st Violation: Written warning

• 2nd Violation: $100 fine

• 3rd, 4th, etc. Violations: $500 fine
