The Town Board of Trustees for the Town of La Veta is currently accepting letters of interest to fill one (1) vacant Trustee position. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved and help shape the future of our town. The successful candidate will serve out the remainder of the term through April 2028.

Are you eligible?

To serve on the Town Board, you must meet the following criteria:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Be a United States Citizen.

Be a registered voter in the Town of La Veta.

Have resided within the Corporate Town Limits of La Veta for at least 12 months.

How to Apply

If you are interested in serving, please submit a letter of interest that includes the reasons why you wish to serve on the Town Board.

Submission Deadline: May 22, 2026, by 4:30 p.m.
