The Town of La Veta has scheduled a Special Election to be held on August 7, 2012.  The purpose of this election is to seek nomination petitions from interested candidates for the (1) one vacant position on the Town Board of Trustees.  The position is for a (2) two year term until the next regular election in April of 2014.
